A superb circa 1760 French Country Louis XV period buffet handcrafted from solid walnut having two drawers (with original brass escutcheon and pulls) and two lower doors (with original brass escutcheons) which open to reveal a fixed shelf (so old with a piece missing which is part of its charm) above a wonderful carved apron and Louis shaped legs. The cupboard has a working lock and key and the centre drawer has a key but the lock is not working. The buffet top has an age split which was glued at some stage. Please use the photos as part of the description. This rare and genuine antique French buffet will add a touch of provincial country charm to any room.
