Antique French Bookcase Armoire Empire Style Metal mesh Doors - B118

A magnificent and very elegant antique French mahogany bookcase or armoire (this is well suited to either) in the Empire style with brass ormolu fittings. The metal mesh doors are always a rare find and the fabric behind is on a panel which could be removed or changed if desired. This piece features three doors with a single key which locks all three doors and seven adjustable height or removable shelves. There are usage marks as would be expected and very minor veneer chips to the top of the door edges which is hard to notice. The two back legs have missing veneer which would not be noticed but is mentioned for accuracy. A superb piece of antique French furniture.
