Antique French Seminaire Commode Chest Drawers Marble Inlaid - FR060

An exquisite antique French Louis XV style Seminaire or chest of seven drawers which is inlaid with marquetry, has a wonderful shaped and bevelled marble top, and features a superb bombe shaped front and sides, ormolu mounts on the feet, original bronze pulls and escutcheons and the key which locks the seven drawers. This is in lovely condition with just a few chips which we have tried to show in the photographs. The marquetry is (as usual with these pieces) a little dry (as can be seen in some photographs) which does not affect this and is mentioned for accuracy reasons only.
