Antique French Solid Oak Louis Style Chest of Drawers Commode - B016

A magnificent antique French Louis style solid oak commode with such an amazing grain in the oak. This is a solid and heavy piece with beautiful carvings, panelled sides, shaped and carved skirt and elegant Louis styled legs. The drawers are dovetailed and it has a dowel construction attesting to its quality. It is in wonderful condition and retains the original drawer pulls - please note the quality construction of the drawers also. A fine piece of extremely well made French history dating to circa 1890.
