A superb and important classic antique French Louis XVI style mahogany buffet sideboard or enfilade. This beautiful piece features dowel construction and brass capped feet. There are four drawers and four locking doors with two keys. The shelving behind the doors on each side has single shelves and a longer middle shelf behind the inside middle doors. The top has age splits as shown which had been filled at an earlier date and could be again. There are a few light scratches which are not overly noticeable and would be expected from a piece of this age. As with most French antique furniture there are some old long gone borer holes on the back which does not affect the integrity in any way. (This is of no consequence as all our antiques are treated by Government regulation upon arrival from France). This piece dates to the 19th century. We have priced this piece well so as to allow for the top to be filled if it was desired.

SIZE approx: 229.5cm long x 47.5cm deep x 100.5cm high - Drawers 45cm wide x 46cm deep x 9.5cm high - The outside cupboard shelf sizes are 55cm wide x 34.5cm deep and top shelf 30cm high and bottom shelf 32cm high - The middle shelf has the same dimensions except the width is 108cm.
