A magnificent and large French animalier statuette or sculpture of two bronze patinated spelter stags on an inlaid marble plinth. There is some wonderful verdigris patina showing. This is in lovely condition with just a couple of tiny scuffs on one of the stags and some movement on one of the stags which is only mentioned for accuracy reasons - this does not affect the statuette in any way. This would be circa 1930.
