A very elegant vintage French Louis XV style oak vitrine display cabinet, with graceful curves, warm oak colouring and wonderful decorative detail.
This charming French vitrine features a beautifully shaped glazed door and glazed side panels, allowing treasured pieces to be viewed from several angles. The door is attractively framed with flowing Louis XV style moulding and retains its decorative brass escutcheon and hardware.
Inside are adjustable 26 mm glass display shelves, creating a light and attractive setting for displaying antique porcelain, crystal, silver, collectables, books or other favourite pieces.
The lower section features a richly figured oak panel surrounded by elegant shaped moulding, while carved decoration along the apron and graceful cabriole-style feet complete the distinctly French appearance.
The warm colour and attractive grain of the oak give the cabinet plenty of character without appearing overly dark or heavy, making it equally at home in a traditional French interior or as a statement antique piece within a more contemporary room.
