A Huge Antique French Brass Wheel Wooden Coffee Grinder 19th C - E498

A huge and unusual antique French brass wheel cranked coffee grinder which was found in Paris. The grinder is cast iron and the base with drawer is wooden. This would date to mid 1800’s. There may have once been a cover over the grinder top (same as on the back) which does not affect this at all. This would have been used in a French bistro and would have been screwed to a counter. It is unusual in the fact it has a brass wheel. It is quite heavy. The wooden base has warped a little as can be seen in the photographs.
