An Antique French Louis XV Style Marble Top Chest of Drawers Vanity with Mirror – Late 19th Century – G049

This exquisite antique French Louis XV style dressing chest of drawers dates to the late 19th century and showcases elegant curves, ornate detailing, and a richly figured red marble top. A beautifully proportioned and finely crafted piece cabriole legs, and a decorative scalloped apron — all hallmarks of the Louis XV tradition.

The base comprises five drawers in total, each with original gilt brass handles and escutcheons. The stunning red marble top is shaped to fit the cabinet’s contours and extends behind the raised backboard, which is crowned by a carved and framed mirror with a sinuous silhouette and foliate crest. The mirror’s frame, like the base, is crafted from warm-toned walnut with excellent grain and patina.

This piece would make a magnificent statement in a bedroom or dressing room and could also serve as a unique bathroom vanity or hall cabinet with timeless French flair.

The mirror and marble top remove for transport.
