A refined and elegant French mahogany semainier chest of drawers,
dating to the early 20th century (circa 1930–1950), combining functional
vertical storage with the clean lines and graceful proportions
typical of French Neoclassical influence.

Traditionally used with one drawer for each day of the week,
this tall and narrow semainier features seven full-length drawers,
each fitted with its original round brass handles.
The drawer fronts are constructed from beautifully figured mahogany
with a rich, warm patina, enhanced by subtle bevelled mouldings.

The overall form is streamlined yet sophisticated, with gently canted corners
and a classic plinth base resting on shaped bracket feet.
Its vertical format and narrow footprint make it a perfect solution
for bedrooms, dressing areas, or smaller spaces needing refined storage.

Each drawer runs smoothly and is built with traditional joinery,
and the timber surface shows only light signs of age —
a testament to the quality and care of its preservation.
