This antique French Breton Oak armoire features traditional Breton hand carvings and motives such as the ships wheel and hand carved peasant scenes. It features a working lock and key three adjustable height shelves and a storage drawer. This is a very old piece and as such there is some warping in the right door that can be seen and one of this spindles was previously replaced with a different style which is barely noticeable amongst all the other features. There are some age separations in the timber as it can be seen primarily on the right side and the carved ship wheels. (We feel part of its antique charm). The fabric panels behind the spindles could be changed or removed altogether if desired.
