This rare antique oak cabinet (bonnetiere) features early dowel construction, traditional Breton hand carvings such as the ship wheel, spindle panels, brass studs and a locking key. The interior features one fixed height shelf and there is a galley display area above the door. There are age separations in the side panels as can be seen in the photos which are mentioned for accuracy and there are some old long gone borer holes in the rustic back and door interior. (As most genuine antique French furniture will have old borer holes - this is of no concern as all our pieces are treated by government regulation upon arrival from France)
