A highly decorative antique French carved oak corner cabinet buffet, dating to the turn of the 20th century (circa 1900), with a distinct canted corner form and beautifully carved detailing throughout.

Crafted from solid oak, this piece features a shaped and moulded top above a single drawer and two lower cupboard doors. The doors are adorned with deeply carved panels featuring floral and scroll motifs, framed by shaped mouldings. The cabinet's angled side profile (canted corners) gives it a striking visual presence, allowing it to sit neatly into corners while making a grand statement.

The base rests on short bun feet and retains its original iron hardware and locking key, including decorative escutcheons and hinges. Its rich, golden oak finish has matured to a lovely patina, offering warmth and authenticity. The internal storage space is generous for a corner piece, making it ideal for practical yet stylish use.

In excellent antique condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
