An exceptional and heavily carved French oak vitrine cabinet,
crafted in the mid 20th century (circa 1930–1950),
with richly detailed carving and a warm provincial presence.

This tall and elegant cabinet features upper glazed doors
with shaped glazing bars, allowing for beautiful display
of books, curios, or tableware. The timber-framed glass
doors are slightly curved and framed with deep relief carvings
of fruits, leaves, and grape clusters — a celebration of rural abundance.

The lower cupboard doors are panelled and adorned with
rare full-figure narrative carvings — likely allegorical or
genre scenes depicting village life — bringing both charm
and storytelling to the cabinet’s design.

The interior is spacious and practical, offering fixed
shelves in the top section and secure closed storage below with a fixed shelf.
Iron hinges and handles remain intact. 

The top has a fringed fabric cloth Featuring Ottoman Turks or Persians

playing Polo which could be removed if desired

The piece rests on bold carved bun feet, grounding it with balance
and character. The oak has a deep honeyed tone, with a natural sheen
and gentle age patina that enhances its handcrafted detail.

The locking key is included.
