A beautifully crafted early 20th century French commode featuring exquisite parquetry marquetry, delicate floral inlay and elegant bronze ormolu mounts. Topped with richly toned marble and raised on graceful Louis shaped legs, this piece captures the timeless sophistication of Parisian interiors. Refined, warm and effortlessly elegant, it makes a striking statement in both classic and contemporary homes. (There is no key.) There appears to have been some areas of restoration work to the marquetry as shown and circled in photos. (We do try to show and mention all we can see). A stunning piece for a French room.
