A superb antique French Louis XV style marquetry three drawer bombe shaped commode featuring a beautifully shaped marble top, ornate brass ormolu mounts, handles, escutcheons and foot sabots. The key locks all three drawers. The removable heavy marble top requires two people to lift. It appears as though there was just some minor restoration to the marquetry in places and there is some minor shade difference and crackling to the finish which does not detract and is mentioned for accuracy reasons.
SIZE approx: Sizes: 131cm wide x 51cm deep x 90.5cm high - - Drawer sizes: Top drawer 95cm high, 40.5cm deep, 13cm high - Middle drawer, 95cm wide, 42.5cm deep, 13.3cm high - Bottom drawer , 95cm wide, 45cm deep, 13cm high.
