What a wonderful storage piece. This stunning antique Georgian mahogany bow front linen press / clothes press, circa 1800, has a moulded cornice above two cupboard doors with intricate string inlay, key and working lock. The interior has four shaped oak lined sliding linen or clothes trays. The lower section has a moulded edge above five oak lined bow fronted drawers with intricate sting inlay. The top section is removable for transport. The bottom drawers have locks but no key. There are some usage knocks and chips which can be seen close-up but which are not really noticeable overall. One of the drawers is missing a drawer pull. The top right back side has a missing a piece as shown. There are chips at the top left front corner, the back left top corner and the bottom left back foot. There is a separation on the bottom right hand side which is mentioned for accuracy reasons. We do try to describe thoroughly. This is a superb piece.
