Antique French Armoire Bonnetiere Oak Louis Style Early 1800’s - FR130

A delightful antique French early 1800’s oak bonnetiere/armoire with stunning haute relief carvings and the original locking key. The top shelf has a narrow hanging rack below, which could be replaced with a wider hanging rack if desired or more shelves could be added. This has dowel construction which attests to its early age. There are some separations in the joins on the door etc, long gone woodworm and borer holes, which is usual with French antiques and is of no consequence.
