A beautifully carved antique French Louis XV style bed,
dating to the turn of the 20th century (circa 1900),
crafted from richly toned walnut with fine Rococo detailing.

The shaped and panelled headboard features flowing curves
and a central carved crest with acanthus flourishes,
flanked by sweeping serpentine wings.

The footboard echoes the same fluid lines and central cartouche,
with deep moulding and finely carved floral motifs.

Raised on elegant escargot feet,
the bed exudes classic French opulence
while remaining warm and inviting with its walnut finish
and gently aged patina.

A wonderfully decorative and timeless piece
for lovers of period French furniture.
