Antique French Louis XV Style Oak Armoire Domed Shape Top – c. 1900 – G079

A beautifully curved and richly detailed French armoire,
crafted in solid oak in the early 20th century (circa 1900)
and presented in the Louis XV style with a domed top, mirror-panelled doors
and Louis shaped legs.

This elegant two-door armoire features full-length shaped bevelled mirrors,
framed by a moulded and shaped top cornice with sweeping serpentine lines.
The crown is finely carved with a stylised floral cartouche
in the centre of the arched pediment.

Each door opens to reveal generous internal hanging or shelving space
(with optional shelving installable upon request).
A pair of shaped drawers below the doors offer further storage,
each with its original brass handles and escutcheons.

The armoire stands on carved escargot feet and Louis shaped legs,
with scalloped apron detail completing the traditional Louis XV silhouette.
The oak timber has a warm honey tone with gentle patina throughout.

A refined and functional antique armoire that brings French elegance
and classic form to bedrooms, dressing rooms, or hallways.
