An magnificent and impressive Antique French oak library bookcase bibliotheque with Henri II Influence
dating to the late 19th century (circa 1880–1900).
This grand piece showcases exceptional craftsmanship and refined detailing,
making it ideal for both decorative and functional use in elegant interiors.

Designed for the great private libraries and studies of France,

this piece offers exceptional storage. timeless elegance and remarkable presence.


The cabinet features six tall doors fitted with original green-tinted glass panels,
perfect for displaying china, books, or collections in style.
Each lower door panel is decorated with a deeply carved floral roundel medallion,
adding richness and classic French character to the piece.


Carved rope-twist mouldings run along both the crown and base,
framing the piece with symmetry and visual interest.
The solid oak timber has developed a warm, natural patina over time,
with beautiful grain patterns and tonal depth throughout.

Three independent sections - six doors


The original metal drop handles and hardware are intact with a locking key,
further enhancing the authenticity and decorative appeal.
Inside, adjustable shelving offers flexibility for storage and display
across a wide range of interior settings.
