A beautifully proportioned antique French Louis XV provincial bonnetière, this elegant piece dates to the early to mid-19th century and is crafted from solid oak with a warm, aged patina.

Traditionally designed as a narrow storage armoire, the bonnetière was originally used to store linens or bonnets. This piece now offers both charm and versatility for modern interiors. The single door features a classic serpentine panel design, crowned with an intricately carved shell cartouche and scrolling acanthus motifs that define the Louis XV style.

A scalloped apron and finely shaped Louis legs further elevate its graceful silhouette. The original iron hardware and hinges remain intact, adding an authentic touch to this timeless example of French provincial cabinetry. Its vertical form makes it ideal for compact spaces, while the internal compartment provides ample storage.

An excellent choice for those seeking traditional French style with functional use in bedrooms, hallways, or living areas.
