A finely crafted antique French Louis XV style writing table, this elegant desk dates to around 1920 and is constructed from solid oak with graceful proportions and exquisite detailing.
The piece showcases the refined curves and flowing lines characteristic of the Louis XV period, combined with a practical design suited to both traditional and modern interiors. The rectangular top sits above a shaped apron fitted with a single drawer — ideal for storing writing accessories or personal items.
Louis shaped legs with subtle carved embellishments support the desk, terminating in elegant scroll feet that enhance its silhouette. The warm oak patina has developed beautifully over time, highlighting the natural grain and lending the piece a rich, inviting presence.
This writing table would work wonderfully as a functional desk, a sophisticated hall table, or even a dressing table in a bedroom or guest suite.
