Antique French Oak Renaissance Carved Sideboard with Dragons - B169

A magnificent antique French heavily carved renaissance sideboard featuring dragons etc, top gallery spindles, and three original locking keys. The top has three locking doors with two keys and full adjustable height shelves and the bottom section has a locking key and an adjustable height shelf. There are some long gone old borer holes (which is usual with most French antiques and are of no concern as all our items are treated by government regulations upon arrival from France). As shown in the photographs the top of the base has extensive cracking and minor warping. The inside bottom shelf of the base has missing veneer as shown. There has been a repair at some stage to the middle gallery left side as shown. We do try to mention everything we find and most original genuine antiques are not pristine (but can be made so if desired). The workmanship in this piece is amazing.
