This antique French potato picking basket was used to gather potatoes from farms in Northern France. The metal basket was very convenient and very practical to carry and wash potatoes and dust off excess mud. Today you can use this basket in multiple ways- use it as a firewood holder, blanket or for magazine storage in your living room, a toy basket, or if you're creative you can even turn this into a coffee table. The possibilities are endless! We only have a few of these (this listing is for one) - each basket may vary in the finish just slightly.
