A charming and substantial antique French provincial oak dresser buffet,
dating to the 19th century (circa 1850–1880), featuring a beautifully aged finish,
fine proportions, and a wonderfully practical open plate rack above a sturdy base cabinet.

The upper section is fitted with multiple open shelves for plates or display, and a deep stepped cornice that caps the entire unit.
It offers both decorative height and classic country farmhouse charm.

Below, the base includes two large panelled cupboard doors with shaped raised mouldings,
flanked by carved floral rosettes on the upper corners, and a pair of drawers above.
These drawers are fitted with turned wooden knobs, while the cabinet doors retain
original iron hinges and a working key.

The dresser rests on squared front feet and a shaped bracket base,
with the rich medium-toned oak showing beautiful grain and patina throughout.
Signs of age and honest wear contribute to its authenticity and character,
making it an ideal piece for those seeking true provincial warmth and utility.
