This grand and richly carved antique French hunt sideboard buffet dates to the late 19th century and is crafted in the Renaissance Revival style. Made from solid French oak, it showcases exceptional artisan work and traditional hunting motifs deeply embedded in French decorative heritage.

The upper cabinet features two glazed doors framed by prominent barley twist columns and topped with a beautifully carved oak leaf frieze. Inside, the glazed section offers original shelving, ideal for the display of fine glassware, ceramics, or collectibles.

A full-width display shelf separates the upper and lower sections. Below, two drawers are intricately carved with oak leaves and vines, and sit above a pair of large cupboard doors, each adorned with a bold oval medallion — one featuring a duck, the other a pheasant — both carved in deep relief. The cabinet rests on short turned feet and boasts a beautifully aged oak patina, rich in tone and grain.
