A rare and very early antique French chestnut kitchen servery hutch or dresser. This wonderful piece was found near Paris and is solid and heavy. At some stage the top of the servery area has been painted white and also the timber drawer handles and we are quite liking it this way. The back panels of timber are not totally straight which we feel is part of its very early construction. Loving the square mortise and tenon joints on the sides as they are one of the strongest antique furniture joints, and their use usually signifies quality furniture. The beautiful old chestnut timber patina is always so beautiful. (Utensils, poissonniere and dinnerware are not included)

SIZE approx: 189 cm high x 148.5 cm wide 41 cm deep. Servery height from floor 57.5cm x 39cm deep x 148.5cm wide. Space beneath servery 140cm wide x 42cm deep x 40cm high. Height from servery to bottom shelf 32cm. The three plate spaces are 147 cm wide x 19.5 cm deep x 30cm high. Drawers - both outer drawers 36.5 cm wide, middle drawer 13 cm wide, all drawers are 32.5 cm deep x 6 cm high
