A rare and wonderful rustic antique (early 19th Century) French walnut Buffet A Deux Corps cabinet. This is an original and an amazing piece. If you were looking for an absolutely pristine piece of furniture than this is not for you. If however (like us) you obsess over original, rustic heavily aged pieces loaded with character then this piece fits the bill. As with most original antique French pieces there there old borer holes, wood worm trails, knocks and chips which all add to a fabulous patina. (As most genuine antique French furniture will have old borer holes - this is of no concern as all our pieces are treated by government regulation upon arrival from France). Sturdy, solid and very heavy, it features two fixed height shelves in the top section, one fixed height shelf in the bottom and two large storage drawers as well as locking keys. The top can be removed for transportation.
