A rare antique French 19th century hand thrown Provincial stoneware or earthenware glazed two handled nut oil or olive oil jug. This is approx 28cm tall. Nut oil was used for lamp oil, cooking oil and for making nut soaps. Please use the photos as reference (and main part of the description) to the pieces. We have recently received these rare antique French 19th century earthenware pieces from France. We will be listing all as soon as possible. Wonderful for French farmhouse decor and kitchen, bar or patio decor. Please note these stoneware pieces are 19th century and may have some irregularities and some chips which we always try to show.
