A rare antique French oak hunting Lodge sideboard deux corp - B234

On offer is a magnificent and rare heavily carved French hunting lodge sideboard featuring hunting dogs and boar’s head and trophies of the hunt as well as harvest scenes. The top section is supported above the serving area by two carved dragons and a decoratively carved back in the Breton style. The top section features three doors which hide two adjustable height shelves, the bottom section features two large doors one adjustable height shelf and two drawers.  There is a key, but only the centre top door locks.  The sideboard has some knocks and chips consistent with his age but those do not detract from this truly beautiful piece.
